The aura in the office became tensed up all of a sudden. Agent Perez didn’t want to put her gun down. If anything, the only thing that she wanted to do was make a point of getting to shoot him, but then again, the law was always there to protect scums like Mr. walker.
Agent Perez made a point of staring at him for a moment without moving or saying a damn thing, and Mr. Walker seemed to be returning the same favor and for a moment, they were the semblance of statues with the only difference being that they were breathing heavily. Yes, it was a little bit confusing since Agent Perez was a little confused as she didn’t know why Mr. walker would want to be in a police station at that time of the night.
On the other hand, Mr. Walker stared back at Agent Perez as though he too wasn’t sure as to why he had come from his palatial place to the hell hole at that time of the night. In the end, it seemed as though they were both fighting some demons and not fully understanding whatever the heck was going on at all.
But since it was Agent Perez’s territory, she decided to break the ice since it was starting to get awkward. And needless to say, awkward was a word that she didn’t like at all.
“What do you think you are doing here?”
“I thought you guys wanted to see me, so I decided to drop by and say hi. Heck, I also heard you guys have good coffee, so I brought some muffins.”
